TruckProtect is a UK-based operating company specialising in the design, development and marketing of high-quality, highly-visible, easily-fitted, fuel theft deterrent devices for use on light and heavy commercial vehicles, but also farm vehicles, plant and static tanks and general lock-up environments.

Russell Fowler - Founder and CEO

After an early career in diamond exploration and mining in Africa with De Beers, Russell Fowler, 49, returned to the UK to work in a variety of sectors in engineering, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, fmcg and IT services for a number of major blue-chip companies; Wellcome, BP, Logica, Bristol Myers Squibb, R J Reynolds and easyJet. He has been a director on group, regional and UK boards for over 20 years, covering most areas of the world and living abroad.  Russell’s focus is to develop strategic relationships with top quality distributors worldwide.

Richard Fowler - Technical Director
Initially from a Mechanical engineering background within the HGV and heavy industry sector,  Richard moved into the Utilities sector, designing asset management  systems  predominantly in pipeline hydraulic / pneumatic fields.  Richard controls all aspects of design  and manufacturing for TruckProtect.  He will continue to develop the next generation of fuel anti siphon, which now include light commercial vehicles.  In December 2009 Rich was presented the KillSpills Award for Safety for his unique Fuel Anti-Spill Anti Siphon Device.

Gill Sheddick OBE FCILT, Non-Executive Director.
After starting her career in education, Gill and her husband formed Sheddick Transport in South Wales. The company was sold to Norbert Dentressangle after 30 years of trading and Gill stayed on running the business as part of the UK board of Norbert Dentressangle.
Gill now works as a highly regarded Transport consultant using her 30 years of experience in the logistics industry. Over the years Gill has been actively involved with FTA and CILT, heading up initiatives such as “Women in Transport” and activities for the South Wales region of the FTA.

Senior Management Team

Geoff Reyner, Regional Sales Director.
Geoff Reyner has spent all his working life in the Commercial Vehicle industry, initially in the family haulage business and then into the contract hire sector with Salford Van Hire and BRS.  Geoff has worked extensively with OEMs such as ERF and Foden where he handled major accounts such as TDG and Exel Logistics.  After a 6 year stint in the bus and coach sector with Optare and Iveco, he rejoined the truck sector with zero-emission vehicle manufacturer Modec,  directing sales with large organisations such as Tesco and UPS.  He has worked for Truckprotect for a year building new distributor partners and sales channels across the UK and Europe.
